100% Natalie Portman

HOLLYWOOD Wed Sep 24, 2008 08:15 AM (100% Natalie-Portman.net) - Geeks rejoice as Natalie Portman and Devendra Banhart are reported to have broken up.  Portman began dating the folk singer around March this year after appearing in one of his music videos 'Carmensita.'  Paparazzi have captured the couple holding hands and kissing from New York all the way to Israel over the past half year.  In recent months, Natalie Portman made big move from her lifelong home New York to Los Angeles to be close to Devendra.  

An associate of Banhart reported to In Touch Weekly, "Natalie and Devendra have broken up. They will remain friends but need some space and time away."  Natalie Portman has recently vowed to never make vows after dating the likes of Gael Garcia Bernal, Zach Braff, and Jake Gyllenhaal.  Portman said, "I'm into monogamy. But I'm not really into marriage. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it?"
