The annual event – the world’s biggest movie festival – ended last night after opening a week ago on the French riviera with the world premiere of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Stars including Angelina Jolie, 32, Robert De Niro, 64, Penelope Cruz, 34, Steven Spielberg, 61, and Harrison Ford, 65, have all graced the red carpet.
Almost Famous star Kate Hudson, 29, and Tour De France legend Lance Armstrong, 36, caused a stir as they cosied up.
And yesterday it was the turn of actresses Star Wars cutie Natalie Portman, 26, and Resident Evil sizzler Milla Jovovich, 32, to turn a few heads.
Clint Eastwood’s flick Changeling, starring pregnant Angelina, had been tipped to win the Palme D’Or – the festival’s main prize.
But it went instead to a French film about life in school.
