ONLINE movie columnist Anderson Jones says that 19-year-old Canadian actor, Hayden Christensen (of Fox Family Channel's Higher Ground), has inked a two-movie deal to play Anakin Skywalker in the last two Star Wars prequels. Christensen stars in the series "Higher Ground" on the Fox Family Channel which, coincidentally, has a 10 episode marathon this week; 2 episodes per day back to back from 6PM to 8PM. Thanks to THEFORCE.NET for the Fox tip. Also "The Virgin Suicides" may get a major push if Christensen is confirmed to be the young Anakin Skywalker. Hayden is allowed to stretch his acting muscles in this critically acclaimed independant film by Sofia Coppola which opened in limited release last Friday, May 8th. Note: Hayden has yet to be officially confirmed as the next Anakin from Lucas Studios.
