(100% Natalie-Portman.net) - JC forwarded me a tidbit from the Austin American Statesman Entertainment section, "The official word is that Austin-based actor Lukas Haas and Natalie Portman are just friends, but an insider on the set of "Where the Heart Is" told me the former child stars have rekindled a romance that began in '96 when both starred in the Woody Allen film "Everyone Says I Love You." Haas and Portman were also in "Mars Attacks!" together..." UPDATE 9/8/1999: Mr. Showbiz is reporting, "Also spotted in Austin, "steaming up saloon windows," none other than Queen Amidala, AKA Natalie Portman, and her I-played-an-Amish-lad b-friend, Lukas Haas. The Phantom Menace star has been linked to the Witness actor since they co-starred in Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You. Portman's in Texas filming Where the Heart Is. She and Haas retired to Austin's Hole-in-the-Wall bar, where they snuggled and played pool, says the News."
