She was basically saying, I really/truly felt great there. Just thought you'd want to know, especially since it was written pretty clearly on your opening page that she said something about smelling herself well. There is also another point in the translation where it says she used the word smell, but as you might have already guessed, in that context it actually meant how she felt."
