(100% Natalie-Portman.net) - The search lights are up in the sky and excitement is in the air. This Monday I was so fed up with my former sluggish web host (ICOM.COM) that I finally took the initiative and moved the site. It was a risky venture and I lost 2 months on the one year prepaid service but the move and transfer of the domain and site only took 24 hours! It probably took several days more for the DNS entry to propagate around the world but it was a smooth transition. Anyhow, I'm proud to release the new design and layout. Even better, the site is 100x faster with the site being supported by multiple 0C3 & T3s lines. If you're looking for a good web host, I have to give mad props to HOSTWAY.COM so tell 'em I sent you.
As for the design, it took me months to come up with something I had a passion for. I finally found the motivation to get my arse in gear when some designer offered me 20 bucks to "modernize" my site. That weekend (2 weeks ago), I hacked away and a new design was born. Coming up with a good design is the hard part, after that the HTML comes easy. Well, not that easy. This site has grown so large, I didn't anticipate having to do so much coding. There is still major construction going on, particularly in the Multimedia section, Bio, Links, and Picture sections but it should all be complete by next week. Thanks to the loyal visitors that come day after day and to new visitors that are disovering the beauty of Natalie for the first time.
