(100% Natalie-Portman.net) - Was the Queen's voice in the Phantom Menace digitally altered? You may notice that in the music video released last week, Natalie Portman's voice appears deeper in some scenes. Natalie Portman started filming the Phantom Menace at the tender age of 14 years old and during that time span, her voice changed (attributed to her maturing). Rumors indicate that Lucas wanted her to have the same voice throughout filming of the whole movie (3 years span) and used digitalization to lower her voice for her earlier takes instead of refilming. The voice changes may be especially noticeable when you compare the trailers to the video. As for comparision with the movie, we will all just have to wait and see.
