Natalie moves back to parents home - 2008-11-17
Natalie Portman has returned to live at her parents’ home. The actress has recently split up from her boyfriend Devendra Banhart and is living again at home with her mother and father. “I’m homeless at the moment so I am residing with my parents,” she told the Sun. The 27-year-old star enjoyed the relocation at first, but she doesn’t feel that comfortable at the time being. . “It was cool in the beginning because I get good meals and my laundry done but it turns into trouble,” she added.
Natalie's fears to faint on the Late Show - 2008-11-10
Natalie has apologized TV audience for appearing dizzy on the Late Show on Friday night (November 7). The actress warned host David Letterman that she could faint because she had just retuned from the doctor’s office. "I got my blood taken... it's just for insurance for the thing (next film), so, if I faint just bring me an orange juice. Contactmusic.com quoted her, as saying. "They have to make sure you're not actually a junkie," she added.

Natalie Portman is to star in the romantic comedy "Love and Other Impossible Pursuits." The 27-year-old actress will replace Jennifer Lopez, who withdrew the project unexpectedly, reports Variety. Natalie will play a woman who finds out that the way to rekindle her marriage is to improver her relationship with her 10 year-old stepson. The movie is based on a successful book of the same, and Portman will also executive produce it. Filming is set to star this month in Manhattan.

In the video posted on YouTube, they say, “The global financial crisis is affecting all of us. The panic on Wall Street has now reached mainstream. There doesn’t seem to be a clear answer. And the worst may be yet to come.” Natalie adds, “After careful consideration, Rashida and I have determined the best course of action - puppies!” And the video finishes with both of them, lying on a bed, kissing and cuddling pet pooches, asking in a serious tone , “So how about it America? Natalie Portman reveals she’s so inclined to keep harmonious relationships that she tends to hide her true feelings. The actress tells Elle magazine, “I'm very non-confrontational; I'm definitely a pleaser.” The 27-year-old believes this attitude is typical of women. She adds. “I bury my [independence and ambition] a lot, which is a very woman thing to do. They say women often preface their statements with "This might sound stupid, but…" It sort of tempers what you are going to say. She concludes, “It takes the edge off so you can still be seen as ladylike. I think I have a lot of that in me.”
