(CHRISPINE.ORG) - It was bound to happen. The first lighting bolt of fame has struck in dramatic fashion for Chris Pine. The serious gaze of Zachary Quinto is only complimented by the charming smile of Chris Pine as they grace the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine (EW). This reboot by director J.J. Abrams hopes to appeal to a new generation of Trek fans (aka Trekkies). The magazine has preview shots of the whole Star Trek gang who wear solid tops over black undershirts and pants. Captain Kirk's (Chris Pine) outfit is solid black while Spock (Zachary Quinto) wears a solid blue top. Chris Pine jokes,

''It was very hard to take myself seriously,'' says Pine, 28, with a laugh. ''I'm six-foot, I weigh about a buck sixty-five, went to private school, and grew up in the [San Fernando] Valley — I wouldn't follow me into battle.''

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Screen captures from Princess Diaries 2 - Royal Engagement have been added.  Princess Mia (Anne Hathaway) finds herself needing to get married after discovering that Genovian law states that princesses be married before crowning.  Adventure and romance ensues as a parade of suiters and including a prince (Chris Pine) who is trying to steal her crown and become king.

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Life is easy for Ashley who has all the luck in the world while Jake leads a difficult life cleaning toilets while working as an agent for a band.  Worlds collide as both kiss at a masquerade ball promotion resulting in a reversal of fortune for Jake at the expense of Ashley's formerly posh lifestyle.  Both meet later and strike a romance but will they be able to manage their own fortunes before the next electrifying kiss?

(CHRISPINE.ORG) -  We've just added screen captures of 2007's Smokin' Aces.  A large contract is taken out on a magician gone mob guy Buddy "Aces" Israel who is ready to make a deal with the FBI.  The FBI is trying to save him from a multitude of contract killers which includes a treo of neo nazi's (Chris Pine).  The rogue killers collide in Las Vegas as the FBI races to save Aces from getting Smoked.

(CHRISPINE.ORG) -  We have screen captures of 2007's Blind Dating.  Danny (Chris Pine) is an attractive, bright, and young individual that never lets his blindness hold him back.  He's well rounded playing sports and prefers not to use a cane.  Danny's brother Larry (Eddie Kaye Thomas) attempts the role as cupid setting Danny on a series of blind dates.  Mischif ensues as Larry just wants to de-virginize his young brother while Danny insists on looking for a more meaningful relationship.

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - An Aint It Cool News report from January 5th speaks of leaks from the Star Trek set. It's a balanced article from the view of a purist as well as another view from a non-trekkie.  The purist believes the script is a "a travesty" as the non-fan states "I must say I am impressed."  Read the full article HERE if you dare but note there are possible spoilers.

By Rob Lowman (Los Angeles Daily News) - Director J.J. Abrams promises that "the movie we're making won't feel like any other Star Trek you've ever seen."

Everyone involved is being closed-mouthed about plot points for the film due out May 8, 2009, but Abrams, known for slam-bang action in his TV series Alias and in Mission: Impossible III, adds, "There hadn't been this kind of action in a Star Trek movie before."
